The Energy Authority organises a public consultation on the multipliers, seasonal factors and discounts relating to reference price methodology for gas transmission. The consultation responses shall be submitted to the Energy Authority no later than 16 June 2025.
The Energy Authority has, by its decision of 23 October 2020 (ref. no. 3238/050003/2021), approved the reference price methodology in accordance with the network code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas by Gasgrid Finland Oy. In accordance with article 27(5) of the network code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas, the procedure for consultation on the reference price methodology must be repeated at least every five years.
At the same time with this consultation on article 28 Gasgrid Finland Oy carries out a consultation about harmonized transmission tariff structures in accordance with article 26 in the Tariff Network Code.
The Energy Authority shall, in accordance with article 28 of the network code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas of Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/460, organise a consultation of relevant stakeholders and all national regulatory authorities of the Member States directly connected to each other on the following issues:
- the level of multipliers
- if applicable, the level of seasonal factors and the calculations set out in article 15
- the levels of discounts set out in article 9(3) and 16
The consultation is open from 16th April until 16th June 2025. The consultation responses shall be delivered by e-mail at [email protected].
Should the submitted statement or its annexes contain any confidential information, the submitting party shall mark this as confidential and in addition submit a public version where the confidential parts are omitted.
